Travers Saturday saw the debut of well-bred babies who will hopefully show up in Stakes races later in the month. As we draw closer to the Breeders’ Cup, the Juvenile races begin in earnest. Six graded stakes races for two year olds are scheduled to be contested next week. The pedigree profiles of the entrants and race selections for each race will be posted on the main Iron Maidens Thoroughbreds website.

Hurricane Irene caused a minor disruption to the racing and training schedules in the Northeast. Let’s take a look at Saturday’s results and the upcoming maiden and allowance races scheduled for tomorrow. We’ll catch up with the works this week.

My Bashert (With Distinction - Caught Ree, by Eastern Echo) Record: unraced. She’s a half to precocious Bashert (11-1-2-2 $98,000), who placed in the Best Pal (G2,6.5F) and Hollywood Juvenile Chmp S.(G3,6F).
