The Juvenile division is starting to take shape. Union Rags added his name to the roster of graded stakes winners with his victory in the Saratoga Special. He joins Overdriven, winner of the Sanford at the top of the list of Eastern two year olds. In Kentucky, Exfactor reigns as the Midwest Champ, at least until September when the Arlington-Washington Futurity is held. All of the excitement is in the West, where Majestic City owns wins in the Hollywood Juvenile Championship and the ungraded Willard Proctor Memorial. The Best Pal Champ, Creative Cause will challenge Majestic City in the Del Mar Futurity next month.

From now until the end of the year, we’ll see longer race distances and the babies bred to be two turn runners will start to make an appearance in the maiden ranks. You can keep track of these babies through free virtual stable email notification systems at:

Throughout years of reading and research the only true way to become very successful at handicapping boils down to 3 key principles. With knowledge, the ability to adapt to different situations, and discipline to do the work spending time on your selections you will dominate any track you come across. There are so many factors that can affect any given race that some races you can look at a hundred different times and still be dumbfounded.
