South of Dixie (Proud Citizen - Six Sexy Sisters, by Langfuhr) He’s the fourth foal and first colt produced by his dam. Two half siblings made it to the races, and went a combined 0 for 5. Their dam won her debut and the Ontario Lassie Stakes. She’s a full sister to 2003 Canadian Triple Crown Champ and Horse of the Year Wando. The second dam Kathie’s Colleen won the Monmouth Oaks (G2). She’s a half to the sire Beau Genius.

Chuvalo (Aptitude - Most Treasured, by Mutakddim) he’s the first foal produced by his unraced dam. His second dam Dearly Loved placed in the Alabama (G1). The fourth dam is blue hen and Champion handicap mare Straight Deal, whose offspring include G1 winner Desiree, dam of multiple graded winner Adored, Belonging, the dam of sire Belong To Me. B.C. Turf heroine Dangerous Midge and Jim Dandy victor Scorpion were produced by Straight Deal’s daughters. The fifth and sixth dams are also blue hens.

Laertes (Shakespeare - Violent Beauty, by Gone West) He’s the first foal produced by his dam. She needed six tries to win her maiden. She’s a grand-daughter of Filly Triple Crown winner and Champion Older Female Sky Beauty.

Stormy Revenge (Stormy Atlantic - Firebaby, by Marquetry) He’s the third foal produced by his dam. One half sibling went 1 for 8 and the other is 0 for 5. His dam won once in 7 tries and she’s a half sister to La Brea Stakes (G1) winner Got Koko.

Simply Smart (Smart Strike - Seattle Tac, by Seattle Slew) He’s the third foal and first colt produced by his dam. One half sister is 3 for 15 and the other was unplaced in her first start, but currently working at Woodbine. His dam is a half sister to multiple Group 1 winner and sire One Cool Cat. The second dam Tacha is a full sister to the dam of the top Turf miler Aragorn.

Songs and Sonnets (Unbridled's Song - Bedanken, by Geri) 6F 1:14.00 (1/2) Breezing. She’s the third foal and first filly for her multiple G3 turf winning dam. Both half brothers raced, with one winner. Their dam is a half to multiple turf stakes winner Much Obliged.

Belmont:

Honey Bird (North Light (IRE) - Buffythecenterfold, by Capote) 4F :52.35 (23/24) breezing. She’s the first foal produced by her precocious dam, who won the Landaluce and Sorrento as a juvenile.

Tizfirst (Tiznow - Number One Cat, by Storm Cat) 5F 1:01 50 (1/17) breezing. Her full sister sold for $430K and won her debut last year. She then finished second to last in the Spinaway Stakes (G1) and hasn’t posted a work in 2 months. Two half siblings have raced and are winners. Both needed several starts to win. Their dam was in the money six of eight starts. She’s a half sister to a stakes placed runner and the second dam Vivid Angel won the Oak Leaf Stakes (G1).

Warrant (War Front - La Pascua, by Caerleon) 4F :49.70 (13/24) handily. He’s a half brother to stakes winners Hot Hot Mama and Pascal. Their dam is a stakes winner in France. The third dam Olmec is a blue hen. Her offsping have produced European Horse of the Year and top sire Dancing Brave, French Champion filly Joypha and the top race mare Sand Springs.

Seductress (Lemon Drop Kid - Indy Pendence, by A.P. Indy) 5F 1:01 50 (1/17) breezing. She has thee half brothers. One has 8 victories in 48 starts. Not bred for precocity, he won his maiden in his fourth attempt and is currently competing unsuccessfully in the claiming ranks at Lone Star. Another half brother won 2 of 5 starts and won his maiden in his third try. The third brother is unraced. Their dam is an unraced half sister to the top turf horse and sire Marquetry. The fourth and fifth dams are blue hens. The top race mare You was produced by this family. Seductress is inbred to the blue hen Lassie Dear through her daughters Charming Lassie, the dam of Lemon Drop Kid and A.P. Indy, the damsire of Seductress.
