In July and August, the distances of the races for two year olds start to lengthen. Precocious pedigrees still rule, but we begin to see the unveiling of juveniles who will eventually prefer running two turns. Every day on this blog from now until the end of the Saratoga and Del Mar meetings, I’ll point out blue blooded babies from my Kiddie List database that are entered to race or have a series of decent works. Dance Thewayyouare (Mineshaft - Diversa, by Tabasco Cat) 4F :49.00 (11/32) is a half sister to Hollywood Oaks (G3) placed Love Theway Youare. All five of her half siblings are winners and her dam is a stakes winner. Her dam’s half sister have produced first crop sire Saint Anddan, G2 winner Street Sounds and her stakes winning half sis Silver Highlight.

Invasor Beauty (Invasor - She's Scrumpy, by Squadron Leader) 5F 1:01.20 (2/6) breezing. Mentioned in our 7/12/11 works.

Done in Love (Smart Strike - Ender's Valentine, by Deputy Minister) 4F 51.00 (23/41) breezing. She’s the first foal for her dam who was unplaced in her sole start. Her dam is a half sister to the multiple stakes winning full sibs, Ender’s Shadow and Ender’s Sister. Third dam Fit For A Queen is multiple graded stakes winner.
Givhans Ferry (Congaree - Trepidation, by Seeking the Gold) 4F 50.20 (16/41) breezing. She won her maiden on 6/26 at first asking. She’s full sister to Irish Group 3 winner Maoneach and a half sister to Iowa Derby hero Tiz Now Tiz Then. Third dam is Kentucky Oaks heroine Dispute.

Runs With Bulls (Flashy Bull - For All Who Dream, by Eltish) 5F 1:01.40 (3/10) Breezing from the gate. He’s a half brother to juvenile stakes placed For All Who Conga and their dam won the JJ’s Dream Stakes.

Delayed (Any Given Saturday - Rougeole, by Red Ransom) 4F 48.00 Handily. He’s the second foal for his dam. His half sis is unraced. His dam went 0-3, but she’s a half to multiple G1 placed Setsuko. His second dam is a stakes winner.
Mending Wall (Broken Vow - Fencelineneighbor, by Wild Rush) 4F 50.20 (22/30) Handily. She’s a half sister to stakes placed Nextdoorneighbor. Their dam and second dams are both stakes winners. Mending Wall’s brother and dam needed a few starts to win their maidens.

Coral Glade (Unbridled's Song - Jessamy Lane, by Hennessy) 47:54 (2/31) Handily main dirt track. Pretty gray filly is the second foal for her dam. Her half brother Oughterson recently was fourth in his debut at Delaware. Her dam is a half sister to stakes winner Mambo In Seattle. Her third dam is blue hen Weekend Surprise, dam of A.P. Indy, Summer Squall, etc.
Quiet Danger (Bernardini - Amansara, by War Chant) 4F :49.98 (16/31) Breezing from the gate. He’s the first foal for his stakes winning dam needed to starts to win her maiden. The second dam is a graded stakes winner and this distaff family is littered with blacktype.
Spin Out (Hard Spun - Island Queen, by Ogygian) 4F 48.77 (9/52) dirt training track. He’s a half brother to the G3 sprinting sire Friendly Island. Three of six half siblings are winners.
Fontanne (Distorted Humor - Double Cat, by Storm Cat) 5F 1:02.23 (8/15) Breezing from the gate. This is her third gate work. Four of her five lightly raced half siblings have won, and three won at first asking. Her dam is a stakes winning half sister to the top miler sire War Chat and three other stakes winners. The second dam is Champion Hollywood Wildcat.
